Welcome to the "Original" Dynasty Rankings Fantasy Football Blog

This blog was born out of a Dynasty Rankings thread originally begun in October, 2006 at the Footballguys.com message boards. The rankings in that thread and the ensuing wall-to-wall discussion of player values and dynasty league strategy took on a life of its own at over 275 pages and 700,000 page views. The result is what you see in the sidebar under "Updated Positional Rankings": a comprehensive ranking of dynasty league fantasy football players by position on a tiered, weighted scale. In the tradition of the original footballguys.com Dynasty Rankings thread, intelligent debate is welcome and encouraged.

Updated Dynasty Ranks at Rotoworld

Apologies for the lack of updates over the past few months. As my responsibilities at Rotoworld have increased, I've had precious little time to concentrate on updating this blog.  Unfortunately, I don't see that changing any time soon.  On a positive note, however, I've updated all of the rankings as we head into the season.  They can be seen here on Rotoworld's front NFL page. To compensate for the lack of work on this blog, I will be increasing the Dynasty coverage on Rotoworld going forward.

Chris, your dynasty information and analysis (and your redraft information as well) is "must read" material for me. I'll follow your work were ever you post. Keep it up and thanks for helping me win my first dynasty championship last year!

Chris, perhaps it's because I'm not a subscriber, but I can't find updated work you've done with dynasty rankings since this post in early September. Am I missing something at Rotoworld?
