Welcome to the "Original" Dynasty Rankings Fantasy Football Blog

This blog was born out of a Dynasty Rankings thread originally begun in October, 2006 at the Footballguys.com message boards. The rankings in that thread and the ensuing wall-to-wall discussion of player values and dynasty league strategy took on a life of its own at over 275 pages and 700,000 page views. The result is what you see in the sidebar under "Updated Positional Rankings": a comprehensive ranking of dynasty league fantasy football players by position on a tiered, weighted scale. In the tradition of the original footballguys.com Dynasty Rankings thread, intelligent debate is welcome and encouraged.

Waiver Wired | First Look

QUARTERBACKS
Matt Cassel ?
Byron Leftwich -
Kevin Kolb - "NBC's Peter King reports that Donovan McNabb (ribs) is "doubtful" to play in Week 3.
The Eagles don't appear to be planning to start McNabb, and would go with Kevin Kolb again while installing a "10-play package" for Michael Vick. Philly hosts Kansas City, but Kolb will remain a poor QB1 bet. He threw for 391 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against New Orleans, but got most of his numbers in "catch-up" mode and threw three picks. It still makes sense to sit McNabb in the winnable game with the Eagles going on a bye in Week 4."
Seneca Wallace - "According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Matt Hasselbeck does have a fractured rib and his status for Week 3 is up in the air.
The play Hasselbeck got hurt on looked remarkably similar to the play that Donovan McNabb cracked his rib on in Week 1. Hasselbeck tweeted Sunday night that he is going to be "alright" after getting examined at the hospital, but the MRI results are not in yet. Even though Peter King tweeted that Hasselbeck should be OK for Week 3, consider the quarterback questionable."
Jake Delhomme -

RUNNING BACKS
Pierre Thomas - FOX Sports' Jay Glazer confirms that Mike Bell's knee sprain isn't as serious as initially believed, but reports that Bell "probably" will miss Week 3.
This could open the door for Pierre Thomas to retake the Saints' lead back job, but he's going to have to practice well, then stay healthy and produce at Buffalo. The situation needs to be monitored all week. Bell is determined to keep his position and won't be officially ruled out until Friday at the earliest.
LeSean McCoy -
Rashard Mendenhall -
Michael Bush -
Tashard Choice -
Justin Forsett - "Jones' forearm was wrapped in ice after the game, but the Seahawks never announced him as being injured. His yanking for Forsett may have been more the result of complete ineffectiveness (one yard-per-touch average on 11 opportunities)."
Lynell Hamilton -
Michael Bennett -

WIDE RECEIVERS
Mario Manningham - 13 targets. "no joke. He’s a little unheralded because he ran a 4.59 40-yard dash coming out of Michigan, but he is really explosive. He didn’t go down on the first hit and was willing to catch slants over the middle. He’s a great pickup in all leagues."
Steve Smith (NYG) -
Mike Sims-Walker -
Laurent Robinson - Targeted 9 times. "clearly emerged as the No. 1 receiver in St. Louis and warrants ownership in most leagues despite the Rams' weak passing attack. He has no trouble creating space and is currently more of a big play threat than teammate Donnie Avery."
Nate Washington - Targeted 7 times plus one rushing attempt
Johnny Knox - 9 targets. "Rookie receiver Johnny Knox seems to be Jay Cutler’s favorite target thus far in 2009. Cutler doesn’t have a Brandon Marshall this year and he has to work with what he has, but he may have found someone in the speedy Knox. He led the team in receptions and yards on Sunday with six and 70 respectively. Knox warrants consideration in most fantasy leagues and is a good play in Week 3 against a weak Seattle secondary."
Julian Edelman - 16 targets
Steve Breaston - 5 targets
Devery Henderson - 4 targets. "is the better fantasy option right now than Robert Meachem. Henderson is more polished in his route-running and can do more than just catch the vertical route."
Nate Burleson - 10 targets
Bobby Wade - 9 targets
Jason Avant - 8 targets
Chansi Stuckey -
Chaz Schilens -
Kelley Washington -

TIGHT ENDS
Brent Celek - 11 targets
Todd Heap -
Marcedes Lewis -
Jermichael Finley - 7 targets
Shawn Nelson -
Brandon Pettigrew -

DEFENSES
49ers - "The 49ers' smothering run defense has allowed a combined average of 1.6 yards per carry to starting running backs through two weeks. Led by play-to-the whistle DE Justin Smith and All-World ILB Patrick Willis, Mike Singletary's unit is for real."

Good day, sun shines!
There have were times of troubles when I felt unhappy missing knowledge about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
I have never imagined that there weren't any need in big starting capital.
Nowadays, I'm happy and lucky , I started to get real money.
It gets down to choose a proper companion who utilizes your money in a right way - that is incorporate it in real deals, and shares the profit with me.

You can ask, if there are such firms? I'm obliged to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please get to know about one of them:
