Why are there less players listed every time the rankings are updated?
Just ran out of steam and hit the sack after a long day. I plan on finishing up the RBs later this afternoon.
Thought it might be something like that. Thanks for the quick response.
At what point will you drop Knowshown Moreno in the rankings? And why is he listed ahead of Ray Rice?
A. He's not listed above Ray Rice.
B. I did drop Moreno a few spots. Why would I drop him further? He's a stud.
1. At the time I posted my comment Rice was still behind Moreno. That's no longer the case.
2. Moreno's a stud? Really? Do you base that on his 3.9 YPC or the fact that the longest of his 109 carries this season went for 17 yards?
I wasn't in love with Moreno coming out, but I still expected him to be pretty good-----thus far he's been very unimpressive. I mean, can't the guy flash some first-round talent every now and again?
Also, you have Mendenhall listed five spots below Moreno...are you capable of keeping a straight face while you tell me you'd rather have Moreno on your team over Mendenhall in a dynasty format (or any format, for that matter)? I find it impossible to believe your answer is yes.
Your turn.
1. You're Wrong. When I updated the rankings Sunday night, Moreno was No. 8 and Rice was No. 6. I have since flip-flopped Rice and Gore, making Rice No. 5. You should look a little closer next time.
2. Let's not get a circle jerk together just yet for Mendenhall after he had a great game against an awful run defense (SD), a decent game against a shoddy defense (DET), and a disappointing game against an embarrassingly odious defense (CLE).
We're talking about a back Mike Tomlin didn't even trust until Willie Parker got turf toe.
Re: Moreno. I've covered the Broncos four times this season, and I don't know what to tell other than that the guy is impressive. His short-area burst is absolutely first-round caliber, he's already one of the most well-rounded backs in the league, and his coaches and teammates love him.
One thing to keep in mind with Moreno is that he's been handling all of the tougher, between-the-tackles runs while Buckhalter enjoys the pitches, screens, counters, and passing-game work. That won't always be the case.
I must admit, after watching just a little of the Jags-Titans game, I have to give the edge to Chris Johnson over MJD, although both of them looked stupendous. Johnson just looked a little more natural to me.
That's the subjective opinion of someone who doesn't own either of them.
