Nice to see some Frank Gore, Vincent Jackson, and Brent Celek love here. My fantasy team thanks you!
Ironically, Jackson was a receiver I picked up as an afterthought in a trade a few years ago. Every time I see him play, he reminds me of Plaxico Burress (minus the bullet hole and the attitude).
Gore is just a stud. I'll take him over your favorite AP anytime. We'll get to see them both this weekend. ;)
As for Celek, I find it funny how much everyone says Kevin Kolb loves to target him. Celek wasn't exactly ignored by McNabb. Celek is a tier 1 stud in the making, IF he can stay healthy.
Speaking of Kolb, I find it funny that he is on the risers list. He is that classic dilemma at QB: A guy who puts up great fantasy numbers, but when you watch the tape you have to cringe at some of his decisions. It's safe to say he is a one-week riser, destined to be a faller after McNabb gets healthy.
BTW, for anyone who is worried that Mike Vick will somehow take Kolb's job, forget it. Even though Vick was trained in the West Coast offense, he never mastered it.
Have we reached the point where Darren Sproles is worth more than LT yet? It just seems to me that the Chargers offense seems to move much better with Sproles on the field. Outside of short yardage what does LT do better than Sproles at this point?
Also, I think it might be a little too soon to be moving Lee Evans down. Yes he's had a slow start, but he was a 1 drop away from having having a huge fantasy game last week. With Edwards improving an gaining more confidence, I think both TO and Evans could be really good buy-lows right now. I'd almost certainly rather have Evans than Brandon Marshall.
