I can only surmise that you don't watch the Steelers play . . . ever.

Not only is Big Ben the very definition of a Franchise QB, he may be the best quarterback in the NFL right now.

If I were an NFL GM right now, I don't think there's a QB I would take over him.Chris Wesselinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04514914375873012828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3775717737795541691.post-82015598550021030502008-10-24T12:26:00.000-04:002008-10-24T12:26:00.000-04:00Chris,Time to give Kyle Orton some love, and Ben R...Chris,
Time to give Kyle Orton some love, and Ben Roethlisberger some downgrade.

Orton has had five straight decent games, to Roethlisberger's two.

I won't go so far as to say Orton should be a tier 1. But I think a tier 4 is certainly reasonable.

As for Big Ben, I'm not sold he's one of the best in the game. He needs good blocking and good receivers and a decent running game to excel. That's average to good in my book, not a "franchise QB".

If someone offered me Matt Ryan for Big Ben, I'd have to give it some serious consideration, even if I somehow had managed a winning season with Big Ben as my QB (i.e. anyone winning consistently this year with Ben as their QB has a lot of talent in other areas).EdMcGonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05892046331126818396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3775717737795541691.post-63498958078644439402008-10-23T01:09:00.000-04:002008-10-23T01:09:00.000-04:00Re: Torain. I've listed Torain several times already, so it just gets redundant to put him on there again.

2. The waiver wire list is for Rotoworld and is directed at re-draft leagues. With Pittman playing so well, Torain may not have any value for quite some time. I don't see how he's worth anything more than a stash and hope.Chris Wesselinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04514914375873012828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3775717737795541691.post-72173721760013625382008-10-23T01:03:00.000-04:002008-10-23T01:03:00.000-04:00Chris-Thanks for taking the time to offer some inp...Chris-

Thanks for taking the time to offer some input on the T.O./Grant for Wayne trade...made the deal.

Didn't see Torain on 'Waiver Wired' this week...Have you soured on him?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
